Jawa is justifiably proud to be a European manufacturer. The engine comes straight from Minarelli, the famous engine builders of Bologna, Italy, which is now part of the Yamaha group of companies. The suspension is produced for Jawa by Paioli, one of the most respected suspension builders in Italy. Tyres are Continental ContiAttacks front and rear. Switch gear, electrics and fuel injector system are all sourced from the best that Europe can offer. Jawa then take these parts, add a huge heap of design flair and build the Sportard in their European Czech Republic factory.

The Jawa 660 Sportard heralds a new era for Jawa. They've worked very hard to get it right.
